I'm sure I don't need to tell you how terrible anxiety and panic attacks are, but seriously, they are one of the most horrible experiences I can think of. Who wants to go through the sleepless nights, endless worry, and never ending cycle of fear and tension. It is absolutely horrible and I don't want to ever deal with it again.
Fortunately I don't have to anymore, but the time didn't come soon enough for me to find another way. I went to specialists, saw doctors, took anti anxiety meds and even anti depression medications. What a horrible experience that was. I was damn near suicidal from those drugs! I know the doctors were just trying to help, but man, have they got the wrong approach!
Well now a different approach finally exists, and I can say it may very well be the best approach I've ever seen for anxiety and panic attacks. The book is called Panic Away. The author has obviously dealt with anxiety for years, and does an excellent job tackling the subject with real long term treatment approaches. The testimonials on the site are solid proof of this.
The biggest issue, which is what the book helps with so much, is when people begin to have a panic attack or anxiety in general, they tense up and freak out. I know this feels like it's unavoidable, but the truth is, until you get a hold of your stress response, you won't be able to move forward. The book does an awesome job at teaching you how to slow down that reaction so you can actually make progress and eliminate the fear.
The amazing part is how fast this happens. You try it a few times, and then the next time you feel an attack coming on, it's almost instinctual to use the techniques.
Now I have to warn you, according to doctors and therapists, the only way to help panic attacks and general anxiety is through drugs. This is not true, so if you're seeing a physician, just be careful how you word things, because often times they don't want to admit there is another way because then you won't need there help anymore.
Oh one more thing. Please watch the video on the site, but more importantly, listen to the testimonials and see if you felt as moved as I was. Hint-mine is on there, but I'm not saying who's me! ;)

Anxiety And Panic Attacks Mindset
Anxiety is one of the worst things someone can go through. The feelings of uncertainty, fear, and loneliness haven't been matched by any other experience I've ever been through. Some days it seems like it's a never ending cycle with no way out. I was fortunate enough to have finally found my road that worked for me, I just wished it hadn't taken so long.
You see, I suffered from SEVERE anxiety for over twelve months. It felt like the end of the world. More specifically, the exact feelings I had at the time, were "certain death." I distinctly remember telling the doctors! Ug, what horrible memories.
I tried everything to help myself. I went to doctors, specialists, nutritionists.... you name it, I've tried it. The medications only made things worse, often suicidal, and everyone just kept saying, "oh, you have anxiety or food poisoning, relax."
Lemme tell ya, trying to tell someone that is suffering from panic attacks and anxiety to RELAX, is like telling someone to chill out after you cut their foot off. "Oh don't worry, it'll grow back." It just doesn't happen that way!
But there will be a way! That is the most important thing that you need to believe. I know it seems impossible at a time like this, but there is a way you will get better and overcome this horrible experience.
Trouble is, everyone has there own time frames. For me it was twelve months solid until I felt remotely normal again. For you, Joe or Jane, it could be two days or two weeks. Like I said, the most important thing is to know the time will come. You WILL heal from this and get your life back.
If you don't believe this, you may slip into a depression and loose all hope. I know, I've been there. It all starts in your mind with your road to recovery, and you need to start everyday with good thoughts, no matter what is happening.
So everyday repeat these words to yourself, " I will beat this and get better. I am a strong person and this is not going to overtake me forever. It will come to an end and I will be so happy and thankful. I feel better already just thinking about it"!
Now, envision yourself jumping for joy and imagine the feelings you will feel when you go out with your friends again, and feel normal, doing normal things. It will be amazing. Fell that everyday, and commit to working toward it. You WILL get there!
